What’s new in Oculos

  1. ProcurementNew

Track what you buy, not just what you sell

Your shop has two sides. Money going out to suppliers matters as much as money coming in, and until now Oculos only watched the counter.

Now you can run the buying side too:

    • Raise a purchase order for a supplier, then receive the goods against it. What you ordered, what actually arrived and what it cost all line up.
    • Match invoices as stock comes in, so the price you pay is the cost your profit report uses. No more guessing your margin.
    • Send stock back. Damaged or wrong deliveries become supplier returns that reverse the stock and the cost cleanly, on the ledger.

Every purchase, receipt and return lands in the same auditable trail as your sales. The shelf, the books and the money finally tell one story.

  2. InventoryNew

Count your shelves without closing the shop

Every owner knows the gap between what the system says you have and what's actually on the shelf. Finding it used to mean shutting the doors for an afternoon and counting by hand.

Now you can count while you sell. Walk the shelves, enter what you actually have, and Oculos reconciles it against the ledger in the background:

    • See the variance per product: over, short, or spot on.
    • The count posts as a proper adjustment, so the correction is on the record with your name against it, not a quiet overwrite.
    • Do it aisle by aisle, whenever suits you. No closing, no notebook.

The number at the end isn't just a corrected count. It's the first honest look at what's quietly leaving your shop.

  3. TeamNew

Give your team the right keys

A shop isn't one person, but the numbers that matter should still be yours alone. So access in Oculos now follows the job.

    • Invite your team by email and give each person a role: cashier, manager or owner.
    • Cashiers sell and open their own shift. Managers run the floor, inventory and the day. Owners see everything, including profit and cost.
    • The sensitive numbers (margins, what a product really cost you) stay owner-only, masked from everyone else even in the same report.

Everyone gets exactly the counter they need, and nobody gets a look at the one figure that's none of their business.
